Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili adjourned a case involving Suva businessman Benjamin Padarath for 14 days.
Magistrate Ratuvili told Padarath to prepare his mitigation in the 14 days.
It is alleged that in 2010, while a woman was waiting for her sister in a car in front of MacDonald’s in Suva, Padarath allegedly swore at her and tooted the horn while in a vehicle behind the car.
Padarath’s lawyer, Filimoni Vosarogo, was in Nasinu Magistrate court for another matter.
The businessman’s bail has been extended until the case is called again on April 8, 2014.
